Air Berlin tickets can be booked on the airline's web site, by calling the Air Berlin service center, on many travel websites and through many traditional travel agencies.
► Finding low priced flights on Air Berlin
JustFly-tickets are the cheapest tickets available on Air Berlin. These tickets are only available on the Air Berlin web site.
JustFly-tickets are only available on short- and medium-haul European return flights and only if you stay for two or three nights or over a weekend. The number of tickets at this fare is restricted and if not available, this fare class will not show up when you search for tickets on the Air Berlin web site.
No checked luggage is included in this fare.
When you travel on a JustFly-ticket you must check in on-line. There are strict rules you must follow regarding how and when to check in for your flight. Information on check-in rules for the JustFly fare can be found here.
FlyClassic is a slightly more expensive fare class than JustFly. One checked baggage item is included in this fare class. You have the option to reserve a specific seat for a fee and can check in at the airport.

► Rebooking, change of name and cancelling tickets
JustFly tickets can't be rebooked or cancelled.
FlyClassic tickets can be changed for a fee and by paying any fare difference. However, no refund is issued if the ticket is not used or cancelled.
FlyFlex tickets can be cancelled with a full refund. These tickets can be rebooked by only paying the fare difference between the old and the new ticket.
► Air Berlin baggage rules
The weight limit for checked baggage on European Air Berlin flights is 23 kg. There is a fee per kilogram for any excess weight.
The JustFly fare class does not include any checked luggage in the basic fare. There is a fee for all checked luggage items. The fee for the first item is substantially less than the fee for the following items.
For FlyClassic tickets, one piece of checked luggage is included in the fare.
For FlyFlex tickets, two pieces of checked luggage is included in the fare.
For all tickets classes, you can check in a maximum of five pieces of luggage.
You may bring one on-board item with a weight of no more than 6 kg.
